Skype parties are my new favourite!
Skypes not new. Parties are definitely not new. Skype + Parties =

Now you no longer have to face your unofficial trip to the zoo on a night out (click here to see what I'm chatting on about Clubbing or the Zoo? )
Grab yourself a bottle and a glass.
A laptop/computer/ipad/tablet/smartphone - the possibilities are almost endless!
A power outlet would probably be handy too, don't want no power cuts getting in the way of party time.
Let the skype party begin!
I live in Leeds on and off (mostly off) but when I am up here and the north takes its toll there's nothing better than a friendly face and pretend home comforts. Skype allows this to happen. Not only is it a great portal to keep in contact with global friends but also for those good old fashion catch ups when the dog and bone just won't suffice.

Here are my TOP reasons why Skype parties are better than real life parties:
(Real life parties, is this not real life? Hello? Truman? Are you there too?)
You can wear anything you want! You don't have to get dressed up, you don't have to do your hair and make up! It's the lazy persons idea of a bangin' time!

You don't need no id to prove who you are, no gruelling bouncers or queues. No sweaty mess in the playpen for adults with the feral teenagers giving you angsty shoves and glares for being too old. Since when was 21 old anyway?
Your on Skype to your BFF, you can talk all things nasty and nice, openly and freely without other socialites listening in. Once a few glasses have been eloquently drunk and you get to the "do you fancy going for a dance stage" fear not! Just because your not out on the town does not mean your party will suffer.
Skype parties allow for you to be your own DJ, sending in requests over Skype chat and a dance-off over webcam. Playing your favourite tunes with the freedom to do your own 'alternative' dance moves that arn't socially acceptable in public. What dance floor really has the space for these cray cray moves anyway?

Technology I salut you!
Do you indulge in Skype parties? What are your favourite home dance songs?
Obviously not to be a complete social reject, going out is still fun! And there's nothing like the real thing. But when distance is involved, don't think this is an issue in your way! No stretch of motorway can keep a group of friends from having their usual fun.
Thank you Skype, I love you!
P.S I wasn't sponsored by Skype!
