That city Leeds

Had a lovely night out tonight, nothing major but just a few drinks and a catch up.

So whilst I sit and listen to Ed Sheeran until i go deaf I will write some more..and more..and more.

Tonight me and Sarah went out. Went in the back entrance of Nation of Shopkeepers in Leeds - due to its closeness to our living quarters, but there's a bouncer at the back - strange! (due to the bank holiday i guess) So they've a night going on, DJ on the balcony and a massive courtyard party, looks pretty sick. Bouncer says its £17 to get in, Sarah and I having none of this business for a quiet drink so he kindly suggests that if we walk past him and leg it to the right then no one will actually notice that we've walked in for free. Lovely people in Leeds. Only two nights before I was out and the bar staff on Call Lane were continuously handing us over free rounds when I'm with Gabs. Such a friendly atmosphere up here, and amazing city. I'm so glad Leeds was the decision i chose, only one year before and things would of been a hell of a lot different.

Had a very productive day before all of this lark. Went out and went shopping in town, very very early for a Sunday. Lucy was looking for work clothes and then we spent about an hour browsing books in Waterstones. I don't think theres anything better than looking at books, and Waterstones is always just so perfect for a quite afternoon in a warm, cosy and comforting atmosphere. Got four lovely books, two of those written by one of the many loves of my life, good old Oscar Wilde. If only he wasn't gay! Can't wait to read them!

I honestly believe that things happen for a reason.

I'll be home in a week and thats the first year of Leeds over and done with. So weird how so much can change in one year, how perspectives change, how friendships change, and how everything else in life becomes that much more different just from the way you view the world and who you are viewing it with.

I just found a picture on Facebook. I can't work out of its genuinely harrowing or just abso-fucking-lutely hilarious. I wish I could write what it is, but thats one for the personal keeping, not the world wide web. But I'll let you know, it's something to do with how things change and why Leeds was the best decision made after a lot of changes.

Summers Arriving Slowly

Exams are over now.! My how things have changed since a little while back. I no longer hate Uni, i LOVE, lovelovelovelove Leeds and I now have a lovely little friendship group which makes my life all that bit better.

Its just not boring buildings, its an amazing city. Still stumble across new things all the time.

Call lane has become our new local/s. The bar men know who we are these days so its cheap drinks and free shots. Good Times.

Just did some excercise - invented a new game. Lying upside down on the bed and putting your legs in the air and pretending to cycle a bike. Luce and I looked like the biggest goons but we laughed for about 15 minutes straight, best way to exercise if you ask me. Its like spinning, but upside down and without a bike....

Just 4 weeks left till holidays, need to exercise that little bit more.

Life is far too important a thing ever to talk seriously about

Exam period is always stressful. This year is by far the worst and yet i'm sitting here writing this.
